I would like to give Access lofts 5 stars for doing such an amazing job on my loft conversion .Richard, George and James , the builders , were fantastic. They kept me calm and informed throughout the whole build , and nothing I asked them was too much trouble . Richard advised me on many aspects of my loft room and I trusted him entirely . It really was a pleasure having them around . They were not noisy , were very respectful of my neighbours and did an excellent clearing up job . In fact the whole team of builders from plumbers to roofers etc were all so polite and efficient. I really can not recommend your firm highly enough . My son is now enjoying his new bedroom with en-suite - I just wish we d done it sooner. Thanks.

My wife and I have just had our first child and I think its testament to Access that even with a new born our experience of the build was whole heartedly positive and was surprisingly undisruptive!
We built up a great rapport with our excellent builders Ollie and George who were always on form and respectful of our home and genuinely hard working.
Our project manager Andy was always quick to respond to any questions as the build progressed and kept me very much in the loop.
Its not hard to see why Access have completed so many conversions on our estate, I am really pleased with the how the project has turned out.

Beautiful finish and great team to have in your home
We commissioned a loft conversion to accommodate to 2 children's bedrooms and a shower room. We are both delighted with the finished product as Chris, Andy and the team have been able to create a huge light and airy space in our once dark loft. They have even impressed our 3 year old daughter who takes pride in showing everyone her new bedroom!
The team were friendly and efficient, cleaning up each day and accommodating requests to keep the disruption to a minimum. Andy provides an amazing service being at the end of a phone to answer any questions and is always completely cool & calm, even if the client has measured the shower to fit within a mm!
We have been delighted to show local families around the conversion so they can appreciate the end result, size achieved and process involved.

Access Loft Conversions fulfiled our wishes!
Access Loft Conversions were one of three companies who specialize in loft conversions that we approached for ideas and quotes on developing our roof space.
We wanted a store area, additional bedroom and bathroom and we had a basic vision of how we saw the area being developed.
Their architect,Chris Barber, was initially heavily involved in measuring up etc.
Chris listened to our wishes carefully and drew up initial plans which we were attracted to. This conversion was not small and lots of things needed to be considered.
Importantly to us was Chris's willingness to change the plans as our vision developed! For example he came up with the suggestion of a Velux window looking over the valley. Something, initially, we did not think was possible.
This willingness to listen and adjust plans was one of the reasons for eventually going with Access Loft Conversions. Of course anther important reason was their competitive quote!
After speaking to two previous customers about their loft conversions by Access Loft Conversions (both very positive) we took the plunge to accept the quote for what was , to us, a major and relatively expensive development to our house.
We have not being disappointed. An approximate start date was set and this was kept to. Darren and John arrived and stayed on the job for virtually three weeks. They grafted in what turned out to be very warm weather. At times they left both wet through and exhausted!
In any large change such as this it was important to continually follow and discuss how things were going so as to ensure relevant wiring and piping were adjusted / moved where necessary. Darren and John were always amenable to such discussions and always had the solution to any particular issue. Disruption was kept to a minimum within our house, as they gained access to the loft via a newly created hole in the roof which they closed at the end of each day.
First fix electrical work and plumbing was done. We realised, as the job proceeded, that we wanted things which we had not originally asked for! Again Chris Barber was happy to facilitate. For example we wanted to increase the number of plug sockets - no problem. We decided to change a Velux window for a Velux solar tunnel. Again no problem. The store room was made slightly bigger which just required a stud wall to be placed in a different position.
We accepted give and take with these ongoing changes. Sometimes it meant we should pay extra. At other times Access Lofts saved money. Amicable discussions were held and financial adjustments made.
Paul Barber sorted the plumbing out and overcame teething problems which one can expect with any such major conversion.
Finally we must mention Zoe Keogh, the new business co-ordinator. Zoe was always at the end of the phone and was extremely efficient in tracking the development as it rolled out. She reacted to questions and always responded quickly - something that is not always in evidence when employing people.
Even at the end when there was a slight hiccup with the issuing of the building regulations certificate Zoe was there investigating where the issue was. A very professional service.

A Job Well Done
I was very happy, both with the way the work was carried out, and with the final result. Andy and Andy (yes, really! at least I never got anyone's name wrong) were really helpful as the work progressed and any small problems were quickly solved, which mattered enormously to me. The final result is a loft with a definite wow factor - it was a huge space to start with, but the building works have really maximised its potential. The work was brought in on time, and on budget, and I know that if any issues do come up with the work in the future, the Andies will be back to sort them out without demur. I couldn't be more happy with the work that was carried out on our bungalow. We now have a new bedroom upstairs and this has freed up so much room downstairs, enabling us to open up the ground floor for a kitchen/ dinning room. You can't make an omelette without cracking eggs and we knew there would be a bit disruption but honestly we couldn't believe how much work is achieved in so little time. The guys really did make an effort to clean up after a days work and dirt and dust was kept to a minimum. Chris was open and honest to deal with and the whole project was run quickly and smoothly. "We just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the hard work you, and the lads have put in to our loft conversion.
From the outset you all made our lives as easy as possible. Even though all of our ceilings were being lowered, there was always minimum disruption to our bedrooms, which enabled us all to carry on sleeping here with four children (even if it was on the floor!)
We are so grateful for the way you managed the job, always calling round and calling us to check we were happy with how work was progressing. We felt that you always kept us in the loop with the next stages and what to expect and when we made any requests to you or the team, you were always accommodating and made us feel that nothing was too much effort for you guys.
Another thing that really impressed us was how well the fitters cleaned up any mess at the end of every day and ensured there was nothing lying around the children could hurt themselves on. We were expecting to come home from work faced with mess everywhere so was delighted to find that wasn't the case. All the employees were also really nice guys who we were totally comfortable with having in our home every day and the loft conversion has been completed to, what we consider, a really high standard. We have had a lot of compliments (especially about the lovely new staircase) from everyone who has come for a look round.
We will be recommending you to anyone that is interested including one of Nick's colleagues who should be in touch soon for a quote, and think that to have a loft conversion with two bedrooms and a bathroom, constructed, plastered, decorated and carpeted within 2 months, to such a high standard is way more than we imagined, so again thank you.

“We are really sorry for the delay in doing this. We had some very sad news and has taken us a while to catch up with everything. I am not sure if this is the correct way to send this, but could you forward to the relevant place please.
We would like to say that we were extremely happy with the work that you, Chris, Dan and Andy carried out on our loft conversion. We really appreciate the time and effort that Chris took to get us to the point of work commencing – we know that was an ordeal! Dan, Andy and yourself were excellent and were very easy to have around working in the house – they were very considerate at all times. All the other trades used were also excellent and we would happily use any of them again. The kids are now both in their bedrooms and love them! It has really transformed the house and we are amazed that a small loft could make such a difference. Everyone who has seen the finished work is very impressed and we have already passed on your name to several people.
We would happily allow people to come and look at the finished conversion if required. We are at present about two weeks away from finishing decorating the rest of the house!
